Let's talk *emergency fund*

Life happens, and it's important to try to be prepared. Every adult should have a stash of cash that is easily available for those unexpected expenses that can come up. One teacher suggests starting with building up $1000 in a savings account. Another financial guru says 3-6 months (or a year!) of expenses (which is why it's important to know what our expenses are, by keeping a Digit Tally). We at MGB suggest that every adult have at least $500 in cash available at all times, for those unplanned moments that can be expensive, and we are calling that an Abundance Fund, because it makes us feel abundant when we know we have cash in the bank.

Having an emergency fund aka and Abundance Fund, is an important part of personal financial planning, so as we are preparing for the launch of the MGB Investing Starter Kit, please take a look and see how well you're covered for when life gets 'life-y' and you need to pay for something you didn't expect. Do you have a fund of cash for those unexpected expenses? Let me know in the comments! And as always, thanks for reading this!
